Strategic Plan 2016 to 2020
Riding for the Disabled ACT (Pegasus) exists to provide horse facilitated programs and activities aimed at developing abilities for people with a disability. Pegasus is an iconic charitable organisation founded in 1973 to serve the ACT and the local NSW region.
Pegasus operates on 100 acres on the fringe of Canberra at Holt. Training rooms, indoor and outdoor arenas, stables, yards and fences have been constructed to aid our activities.
As part of its intent to help ensure the continued provision of its services to participants, Pegasus has developed this strategic plan to guide the organisation through to 2018. Pursuit of this strategic intent will ensure that Pegasus is current, focused and competitive in its market environment, managing resources and risks effectively.
This plan outlines the organisation's strengths and values as well as the vision the organisation has for the future and the initiatives required to achieve that vision.
The ongoing operations of Pegasus, and the key initiatives for success outlined in this plan, are reliant on the continued goodwill and generosity of volunteers and donors.
