Pegasus is situated
on the south side of Drake Brockman Drive in Holt,
Canberra. There is plenty of visitor parking on our
entrance lane but please, no dogs allowed on
premises. |
 |
A view of Pegasus from the air highlights our main
indoor arena and the outdoor sand arena. |
 |
Our scenic pond will be the
first thing you notice when you enter the grounds.
Housing a family of ducks, the pond provides an
interesting obstacle for our riders. |
 |
This is a view inside the main
entrance looking across our yards toward the
Norah Stretton School. |
 |
This is the Norah Stretton Indoor Arena. It was the original indoor arena built
over 20 years ago with a bequest from Norah
Stretton. |
 |
Our main indoor arena was built in 1996 and is the
venue for many of our lessons. |
 |
Our main office. It is part of the
complex which also features our common room,
kitchenette, and coaches office. The common room is used
by riders preparing for their ride. These facilities are
also used by our volunteers. |
 |
Pegasus has 15 stables that
are used by horses who are working that day.
Some of these facilities are sponsored by generous
organisations and individuals to assist with our running
costs. |
 |
While not working, the horses can retreat to
our yards for some hard earned rest.
This area is part of the 100 acres comprising the
Pegasus facilities. |
