"Pegasus is the place, above all others that I've experienced, where everyone, horse and human, is respected, cared about and looked after"

Maya, Pegasus rider.

PEGASUS

Enriching the lives of people of all abilities through relationships with horses

Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides equestrian activities for people with a disability.

Pegasus is located at Pegasus Farm on the outskirts of Canberra.  About 100 riders with a disability ride at Pegasus each week and about 100 volunteers assist with the operation of our programs.

Our riding lessons are offered in an integrated environment with riders placed in classes according to their ability. We have a limited number of places for able bodied riders in our programs.
